You leave trail 324 keeping to the right, gradually ascending, reaching a saddle in the middle of the forest, after which a beautiful view opens up over the northern entrance of the San Giovanni Cave and the valley facing the cave. This cavity, which crosses the mountain from side to side, is one of the few entirely traversed by a drivable road, fortunately now only accessible on foot with entrance from the south. The road was built precisely for the passage of mineral and coal extracted from the surrounding mountains.
