The pathway

The first part of the trail after Genna Sole Addulu follows a mule track, almost entirely downhill with an average gradient of 16%, along an east-facing mountain slope with a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The path, at the end of this section, joins a dirt track in the shade of a holm oak forest. After about 150 meters, it crosses trail 545a and continues for another 500 meters before proceeding on a mule track to Funtana Filigi (931 m a.s.l.).
Here the trail crosses path 545a again, forming an interesting loop route. It then continues on an asphalt road for just over 200 meters to the small country church of San Giovanni, which is surrounded by a dense holm oak forest.
