Eat and drink responsibly!

For a successful excursion, adequate nutrition is important. We recommend a hearty breakfast and small amounts of rapidly digestible foods to be consumed frequently. Always have energy bars, biscuits or fresh fruit to hand. Drink water at regular intervals, but avoid energy drinks. The amount of water you need to carry with you depends on the length of the route, the presence of springs along the way and the temperature on the day.
