How to get here
From the former forest ranger station of Pixinamanna, the trail follows the bank of Riu Palaceris, passing for long stretches over the remains of the tracks of an old narrow-gauge railway. The bank is uneven due to the recurring floods, but crossing it is always quite smooth. You will thus reach the Dispensa Tonietti (220 m asl), now restored by the Sardinian Forestry Agency.
