What is GPX?

GPX is an open license format for managing geo-referenced data with GPS devices. It allows you to manage and display tracks, trails and points of interest in the field, complete with their geographical coordinates. Its strength: it's compatible with almost all GPS devices, such as navigators and smartphones with satellite antenna.
