How to get here
From Cagliari, by car, follow the State Road 195 towards Pula, turn after 12 km onto the consortium road (towards Macchiareddu) and take the second road west until you reach the rural church of S. Lucia. From there, follow the WWF signs - until you arrive at the "Sa Canna" Visitor Center - then continue on the dirt road (for about 6 km) towards the P. Melis forestry station. Continuing on foot - after a few hundred meters - you will find the start of trail 217, which begins with an ascent.
The road to the spring branches off from trail 217, which must be left after the first 580m (walking another 70m will lead you to the spring area).
