Trail 311B runs through dense vegetation with a prevalence of holm oaks, some of which are hundreds of years old, and Mediterranean scrub (mastic, rockrose, phillyrea, etc.).
The trail comes across Rio Barca in several points and, after crossing one of the imposing railway viaducts with sturdy masonry piers and arches, reaches the Logulentu valley. From here, a connecting road links it with the other trails of Badde Tolta (311A) and San Francesco - Eba Giara - Luna e Sole (311).
The railway network, built in 1926 by the Ferrovie Complementari della Sardegna (Sardinia Railways) of the Sassari-Tempio Pausania-Palau line, was closed to rail traffic on 16 June 1997 as to the Nulvi-Tempio-Palau section. Subsequently, the Sassari-Nulvi section was also closed to traffic.
NOTE
Trail 311B will be renamed Trail 312 once the Forestas Regional Agency completes the work to connect Logulentu with the watermills of Santa Vittoria di Osilo. The route will have a length of 12.4 km
