A further uphill stretch with a constant slope characterizes the second kilometer of the C-801 trail heading towards the ridges. Here it intersects with the Sentiero Italia (Italy Trail) which, three hundred meters further northwest, will pass through Guventu, intersecting with the 802, while to the southeast it continues beyond Bau Andrioi to ascend towards Arcu Perdu Cossu. Trail 801, however, continues uphill to the stop at the small spring Sa Spindula de Giulianu, which wets the ground exactly at kilometer 2.2 of our route.

Not much remains of the old spring, but it was known to the elderly as a strategic place where the ancient cultivated gardens (which in ancient times, when the area was rich in settlements)

Un ulteriore tratto in salita e in costante pendenza caratterizza il secondo chilometro del tracciato C-801 diretto sulle creste. Qui si incrocia con il sentiero Italia (che trecento metri più a nordovest passerà a Guventu incrociandosi con l'802, mentre a sudest prosegue verso oltre Bau Andrioi per salire verso Arcu Perdu Cossu).  Il sentiero 801 prosegue invece in salita fino alla tappa della piccola sorgente Sa Spindula de Giulianu che bagna il piano il calpestio esattamente al km 2,2 del nostro tracciato.  

Della vecchia sorgente non è rimasta granché, ma era nota agli anziani come un luogo strategico dove gli antichi orti coltivati (che anticamente, quando l'area era ricca di insediamenti)

A magical place: it is reached via trail 801, crossing S'Arcu 'e Giulianu (de Basciu). The plateau that presents itself, associated with the toponym Su Tuvaraxiu (which in itself tells the whole story: the shrub vegetation is in fact predominantly heather, sa tuvara in Sardinian) displays all together, arranged in a semicircle, the ridges of the Settefratelli mountains.

The macro-toponym of the place is S'arridelaxiu (another eloquent toponym: arrideli is in fact the Sardinian name for the Phillyrea, also present here).

Un luogo magico: vi si arriva attraverso il sentiero 801, varcando S'Arcu 'e Giulianu (de Basciu). Il pianoro che ci si presenta davanti, associato al toponimo Su Tuvaraxiu (che di per sé racconta tutto: la vegetazione arbustiva è infatti prevalentemente ad erica, sa tuvara in sardo) mostra tutte insieme, disposte a semicerchio, le creste dei Settefratelli. 

Il macro-toponimo del luogo è S'arridelaxiu (altro toponimo eloquente: arrideli è infatti il nome sardo della Fillirea, pure presente qui. 

Having reached the plateau of the ridges (Su Solianu de su casteddu de su Dinai), it is possible to rejoin the Sentiero Italia (Italy Trail) via a 15-minute connecting path that runs alongside the old mouflon enclosure, to reach the upper part (Settefratelli Pass, approximately 940 meters above sea level).

Giunti nel pianoro delle creste (Su Solianu de su casteddu de su Dinai) è possibile ricongiungersi al Sentiero ITalia, tramite una bretella di 15' che costeggia il vecchio recinto mufloni, per raggiungere la parte alta (Passo Settefratelli, circa 940 mslm)

Characteristic cave, among giant granite boulders, which legend says offered shelter to a religious hermit.

Caratteristica grotta, tra giganti massi granitici, che la leggenda narra offrisse riparo a un religioso eremita.

Continuing towards Baccu Malu, along the dirt track, you will encounter this fork with signs for other roads (non-trail routes) towards Arcu de Buddui and Bruncu Adulu.
