Daddana spring – Scala ‘e Marras (B-404)
The pathway

You leave the main dirt road in a southerly direction, on another well maintained dirt road that runs flat or with slight gradients. It goes beyond a clear, wide open area, with cedar reforestation and splendid views of the cliff faces above. A slight descent leads to the Daddana spring, one of the most important springs in these mountains. Shortly after the spring, you leave the dirt road for an uphill path on the left.
The path proceeds steeply uphill, with some sections where the slope eases. You walk through a thick holm oak wood along the track that cuts across the screes, crossing below the steep rock faces of Punt Corrasi called Dogones malos. When another dirt road appears below, the path bends left again steeply uphill, nimbly bypassing scree and impervious rocks.
The forest gradually thins out, while wide views of the Barbagia start to emerge through the trees. A last uphill ramp, to the right, leads to the ridge line where the Iscala 'e Marras which you've just walked, ends up connecting with trail 402.

Ho fatto il sentiero in discesa. Molto panoramico ed aereo. Importante avere buone scarpe da Trekking e anche due bastoncini di appoggio per non gravare sulle ginocchia. Il sentiero è perfettamente tracciato.
